Cookie policy
How American Public Data uses browser storage, local search and Umami analytics, with advertising inactive.
What this website uses
A cookie is a small piece of data a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels that send requests to another service. This website uses Umami analytics without cookies and does not include advertising tags. The local search index and data tools run in your browser without storing their inputs in cookies.
Search and data selections
Search downloads a local index and matches your query in the browser. Comparison tools request frozen data files from this website. They do not contact Census APIs during your visit. Selections are recorded in the page URL so you can copy or revisit a comparison; the tools do not need a cookie or a visitor account to restore that selection.
Your browser may cache pages, photographs and data files to avoid downloading them again. Cached files are different from an advertising identifier. The website's page code does not store a reading history or a profile of your interests in local storage.
Analytics and advertising
Umami loads from stats.kzfm.com and sends page-view information to that service without setting cookies. This includes visited URLs, which can contain search terms and data-tool selections. See the privacy policy for the information sent.
AdSense is the publisher's named advertising network. Its scripts are not loaded, and the website does not send it advertising events or set its cookies. No advertising consent interface is active. This notice and the applicable choices will be updated before advertising is introduced.
Browser controls
You can inspect cookies and stored site data through your browser's privacy settings. Those settings also let you clear cached files or block cookies. Clearing the cache may cause photographs or data files to download again. The site's reading, search and comparison features do not depend on advertising cookies.
Links to Census documentation and other external sources open websites governed by their own privacy and cookie notices. Following a link sends a request to that destination; those services are not embedded trackers in these pages.
Questions
The data practices connected with these technologies are described in our privacy policy. For a question about cookies or a privacy request, contact ADMK Studio S.L. at info@admk.com.
