About American Public Data
An independent publication connecting understandable answers, community profiles and reproducible public statistics.
What we publish
American Public Data helps readers understand the United States through data they can inspect, compare and reuse. Its initial collection connects national, state and county statistics about people, household resources, housing, insurance, education and infrastructure. Questions, profiles, charts and exports draw from the same frozen observations.
The publication serves people seeking one fact and people building a sourced report: readers, journalists, students, teachers, nonprofit teams, researchers, public-service professionals, analysts and developers. It does not publish personal background checks, identifiable health or benefit records, political targeting or individual advice.
Independent of government
American Public Data is published by ADMK Studio S.L., based in Spain. It is an independent publication, not a U.S. government agency. Source attribution identifies the original producer and does not imply agency endorsement. No government seals or competitor branding are used.
The publisher’s advertising network is AdSense and its analytics service is Umami. Umami measures site visits; advertising scripts are inactive. The privacy policy describes the analytics information sent. Essential observations, source links, definitions and downloads are available as part of the publication. No accounts, paid research workspaces or subscription service are active.
A figure needs its method
A number is useful only when its definition, unit, period and population are clear. The site preserves direct estimates separately from calculated measures. It identifies missingness, source uncertainty and the limits of cross-place comparisons. Descriptive patterns are not automatically explanations of what caused them.
This initial release integrates selected Census products. Institution profiles, other administrative producers, advanced maps and a natural-language assistant require further validation. The coverage record identifies what is present and what remains source discovery.
Editorial responsibility and corrections
No individual author credentials or external audits are claimed. Methodology and editorial standards describe how this release handles sources, calculations and interpretation. Material source or methodological changes require review before a new snapshot is published.
Send a correction or source question to info@admk.com, including the page address and specific observation. The corrections record distinguishes website errors from upstream revisions. The legal notice identifies the operator and contact details.
